Xiaomi Malaysia and Singapore now official PMNC partners
Smartphone and smart lifestyle product purveyor Xiaomi has announced that they are now the official smartphone partner for the PUBG Mobile eSports 2021 tournament for Southeast Asia and Europe. Further, Xiaomi Malaysia and Singapore have also announced that they are also the official smartphone partners for PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) 2021.
The PMNC tournament, also organised in partnership with Yoodo is a qualifier for the Season 4 PUBG Mobile Pro League for Malaysia and Singapore. Xiaomi will also producing content with e-sports team RSG Malaysia.
“The PMPL series has received great success over the past few seasons and we look forward to providing a platform for those who want a shot at playing in PMPL MY/SG Season 4. With Xiaomi coming onboard this year as our official smartphone partner, we are thrilled that mobile gamers can now enjoy a smooth gaming experience and flagship-level power-efficiency with Redmi Note 10 5G’s MediaTek Dimensity 700,” says Oliver Ye, director of PUBG Mobile SEA.
The PMNC qualifying round starts from June 1 to July 18 in Malaysia and June 21 to June 24 in Singapore. Qualifying Malaysian teams and players from the squad and solo categories will advance to the Zone Finals for a spot at the Grand Finals.
The top 4 teams from Malaysia from the Grand Finals will head to the PMPL MY/SG Season 4, while those in 5th to 10th place will battle it out to be the Wild Card team in the league. Whereas, the top 10 teams from Singapore Qualifier will compete with 6 Wild card teams from PMNC in a PMPL MY/SG Season 4 Qualifiers Playoff. The top 4 teams from the playoff will advance to the PMPL MY/SG Season 4.
This close-knit collaboration will also see a showmatch dubbed the PMNC Fight for Redmi Note 10 5G Showmatch which will feature their latest Redmi Note 10 5G as a gaming platform with audiences getting the chance to choose their favourite players via community voting with the winners getting the aforementioned phone.
