Honor Magic6 Pro Malaysia specs
The successor to last year’s Honor Magic5 Pro, the Honor Magic6 Pro is a flagship phone that improves on its predecessor in almost every way. Arguably the most impressive upgrade is its durability with the 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED display featuring a NanoCrystal Shield laminate bonded to the display that radically increases its resistance to scratches, nicks and outright damage including dropped knives and being dropped straight onto marble and asphalt.
The display is brighter too with 1,600 nits peak brightness with 3,625 nits HDR Peak Brightness across all viewing scenarios. It also has a whopping 4,320Hz PWM dimming to minimise banding onscreen along with a slew of TUV Rheinland certifications for being Flicker Free, Circadian Friendly and being a Full Care Display to make it easy on the eyes.
The phone also hosts a cutting edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset running the latest Android 14 with their MagicOS 8.0, 12GB RAM with 8GB RAM Turbo virtual RAM as well as 512GB of non-expandable storage.
The rear triple 180MP Tele-falcon camera array consists of a primary 50MP camera with an adjustable aperture (F/1.4 – F/2.0) paired with OIS, a 50MP F/2.0 ultra wide angle camera and a humongous 180MP Tele-Falcon telephoto camera with 2.5X zoom and 100x digital zoom. Selfies are tackled by a front-facing 50MP selfie camera paired with a 3D depth sensor.
Of note is that Honor Magic6 Pro hosts a number of additional chipsets for specific tasks including an E1 Honor Power Enhanced Chip for better power management, an Honor S1 Discrete Security Chip for better device security and an Honor C1+ RF Enhanced Chip for more stable and superior connectivity.
Keeping the phone charged is a 5,600mAh Silicon Carbon battery 2.0 with 80W wired fast charging with 66W wireless charging.
