Acer launches four new AOPEN gaming monitors, Acer Aspire 14 AI and AcerPure Chef KF1 air fryer

While basking in the afterglow of the recently concluded Acer Predator League that took place recently in Malaysia, the brand has introduced not one but four new AOPEN gaming monitors that consist of the AOPEN 32HC5QU S3 and 27HC5R Z1 curved gaming monitors as well as the flat AOPEN 27KG3U M3 and AOPEN 25MV1Q Z1 gaming monitors.

Acer also launched the entry-level Aspire 14 AI which comes in two variants with different processors. Coming in from left field was the new Acerpure Chef KF1 air fryer and multifunction cooker which adds impressive culinary versatility to any kitchen setup.

Blending compact design and a surprisingly affordable price point, the AOPEN 32HC5QU S3 features a 31.5-inch curved VA panel with a 1500R curvature that has WQHD resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, a 1ms Turbo Visual Response to ensure smooth animations onscreen as well as a pair of 2W speakers that form a stereo pair.

The AOPEN 27HC5R Z1 is slightly smaller and comes with a 27-inch curved VA panel with a 1500R curvature that has FHD resolution, a 99% sRGB colour gamut, a 280Hz refresh rate and a 1ms TVR response time.

The flat AOPEN 27KGU M3 display has a 27-inch IPS panel with WQHD resolution, a blazing fast 0.5ms GTG response time, a 180Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10 content and a tilt adjustable stand for a modicum of customisation for viewing angles. Rounding out their new quartet of AOPENmonitors, the new 25MV1Q Z1 display has a VA panel with a 280Hz refresh rate, a 1ms TVR response time with FHD resolution and 99% sRGB colour gamut. The display also has a pair of 2W speakers.

Acer Aspire 14 AI specs and price

The Acer Aspire 14 AI is a Copilot+ PC which comes in two configurations. The top of the line variant consists of a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display with 1,920 x 1,200 pixels resolution that runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V series 2 processor, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 1TB SSD and Intel ARC 140V graphics. The battery is quoted to offer up to 14.5 hours of battery life. All this is shoehorned into a chassis that weighs 1.4kg and is about 16.9mm thin. In Malaysia, this variant retails for RM4,699. 

A more affordable configuration exists with a similar display, a slightly lower specced Intel Core Ultra 5 226V series 2 processor, slightly less 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a smaller 512GB SSD. The chassis is otherwise identical to 16.9mm and weighs 1.4kg. With these trade-offs, this variant retails for RM3,999.

Acerpure Chef KF1 air fryer and multifunction cooker specs and price

The unique Acerpure Chef KF1 air fryer and multifunction cooker that, as its name implies, is a highly versatile cooking appliance that features a 5.5L air fryer that can flip over and transform into a 2.5L non-stick cooking pot for fry-ups or stir-fries as well as the ability to function as a compact hot pot. You also get five different cooking modes adapted for different food types.

Food is stored in the 5.5L durable borosilicate  heat-resistant glass basket that offers an unrestricted view of whatever you’re cooking while also featuring a series of drainage holes to drain fat and oil during the air fryer cooking process.

The Acerpure Chef KF1 air fryer can also lip 180-degrees upside down to act as the heating element for a 2.5L non-stick pot that sits on top for boiling, stir fries and grilling. Also bundled with the AcerPure Chef KF1 are a set of tongs and heat-resistant gloves.
